METHOD / recorded-trade-1

What this check can tell you.

Method reviewed 2026-10-02. This describes internal software rules, not a review of laws, standards or your documents.

Quantity comparison

Version shipment-mass-v2. The checker calls the same compareShipmentQuantity function used by the workspace’s quantity check. It compares the entered evidence to this shipment, not to a whole purchase or sale. Tonnes convert to kilograms at 1 t = 1,000 kg. Equality is a numeric comparison with no assumed tolerance.

Both weights need the same net/gross basis and confirmation that the evidence refers to the shipment. Unknown amounts, units, basis or correspondence produce missing information. Different bases are not comparable. Units other than kg/t and non-agricultural products are outside this public check’s coverage.

Public amounts are bounded to positive values up to 999,999,999.999, with at most three decimal places. The operation total used internally is set equal to the entered shipment amount because this public form has no operation ledger. It does not infer allocations, quality, packaging conversions or commercial consequences.

Checklist sources

Version agricultural-starter-v1. The questions below come from the same version-controlled starter templates that a workspace member can explicitly copy into an operation. They refer to records your team must obtain and review. They are not external regulatory sources or pre-approved requirements.

Agricultural trade

  • Agreed order or contract: Confirm product, counterparty, quantity and unit for this shipment. Use the agreed commercial terms; no default tolerance is assumed.
  • Packing or weight evidence: Reconcile shipment quantity, net/gross basis and lot identifier. Compare equivalent units and the same weight basis.
  • Transport evidence: Confirm route, shipment reference and the parties named in the transport document. Record and review differences before internal approval.

Coverage not evaluated

Origin, destination, role and date describe the scenario but do not select legal rules. This version has no validated jurisdiction-specific source set. It does not establish customs, sanitary, phytosanitary, tariff, food-safety or other legal requirements. A matching weight is not compliance, certification or approval.

Inputs and next steps

Calculation runs locally after the page loads. No input API, file upload, storage, AI or external provider is called. Entry lengths and numeric ranges are bounded; each calculation examines only this fixed small form. There is no server query quota because no per-result server query exists. Reload or Clear entries removes the in-page entries and result.

The workspace link uses the real sign-in and company-selection flow. It does not save or transfer the public result. A workspace review needs its own recorded sources and authorized human decision. Historical workspace check records do not store this public method label; the label identifies the current public adapter over the shared functions.
